Aims and Responsibilities
St Josephs has a passionate team of year 5 and 6 Pupil Chaplaincy Team members, who play a spirited role in enhancing and promoting the School and Gospel values alongside our faith to students, staff and the wider community.
The Pupil Chaplaincy Team Members are working on an action plan where they are considering different ways in which they are strengthening the mission, deepening prayer and enabling communion, as well as raising the importance of Catholic Social Teaching across the school.
St Joseph's Pupil Chaplaincy Team members aim to:
To help the school to grow as a community of faith.
To encourage the pupils to live their faith in daily living.
To support Liturgy, prayer and the spiritual life of the school.
To continue to involve pupils in fundraising for charities.
To continue to develop strong links with the Parish.
To support the school in its Mission Statement and values.

All Saints Class Posters November 2024
The Pupil Chaplaincy Team Members organised for each class, throughout the school, to research a particular saint during the month of November. They tasked each class with creating a display of the information they had found out about their saint.

Lenten Prayers March 2025
The Pupil Chaplaincy Team Members asked for each class to think about and offer a prayer intention for Lent. Each class were instructed to choose a particular person, group or theme to pray for. Each class wrote their prayer intention on a paper chain, which the Pupil Chaplaincy Team Members put together. Our beautiful prayer chain is displayed in the main entrance to the school. When passing, please take a moment to read the carefully chosen prayer intentions and reflect on them throughout this Lenten season.
